Language

We want this forum to be fun for all users. Occasional foul language is tolerated, but posts with frequent, intentionally inflammatory, or excessive foul language may be modified or deleted. Repeat offenders may be restricted. Posts that are sexually or racially derogatory and/or abusive towards other members will not be tolerated. Please refrain from posting sexually explicit content. No nudity. No sexual references are allowed that would be degrading or offensive to another member. Please keep in mind that just because it's not offensive to you, it doesn't mean that no one else might be offended. It refers to what is offensive to the general public that reads our boards. Keep it SFW so we can all have fun!

Trolling and Thread Hijacking

Everyone likes to have fun and sometimes a thread goes on a tangent. But if there's a valid discussion going on, don't hijack the thread and run it into the ground just for giggles. Trolling is the act of posting content just for the sake of getting a user's goat. Don't do it. There are plenty of other places to act like an ass on the internet. Repeat offenders may be subject to deletion, restriction or banning. It is also prohibited to knowingly post false information for attention or other personal gains. Slander, lying, cheating, or scamming will not be permitted between our members.

Posting Styles

Regular members might have a posting style that familiar users understand but could read as offensive to newer users. Be careful if you're going to act like kind of a jerk and just assume everyone knows you're kidding and that you're a real nice guy deep down. Not everyone can read irony or will get your sense of humor. Adding a "j/k" after a sarcastic post could go a long way. If it seems like a user consistently uses this forum only as a place to crap in other people's cheerios or otherwise bring down the tone and morale of the forum, that user may be subject to restriction, deletion or banning.

Double Posts and File Sizes

Occasionally a user might double post. Occasional double posts are tolerated if they are topical. Users may edit or delete double posts themselves, or posts may be modified or deleted by moderators. Please keep posts or avatars containing large file sizes to a minimum. We all want to see pictures of your girlfriend or your car; we just don't need to see them at 10,000 x 10,000 pixels.

Sales and Promotions

There is a forum to post classified ads. If you have an item to sell, please keep your posts limited to that section. Promotional spam in forums will be deleted and offenders subject to restriction, deletion or banning. If we want some Cialis, we know where to get it.

This section might read like one big buzzkill, but the idea is to create a tolerant, respectful, fun environment where everyone can post and hang out. We want to keep it SFW so we can sneak on from the office, or so we can walk away from the computer without worrying that Junior learns a new word to repeat at school or the dinner table. Use these rules as guidelines, treat everyone like you'd want to be treated and this forum should be a great place to visit.
